George’s real name is “Mumbles” if you ask his keepers at the Houston Zoo. I had my heart set on calling him “George” which I did all through the completion of the painting. He is one of three male white rhinoceros in Houston. White rhinos are grazers and have a square jaw for mowing down the grass in their path. He was 14 when I met him in 2015.
These luscious richly-colored giclée prints are from a limited edition of 250, printed to order, and signed and numbered by the artist. Only a small portion of the artist’s paintings are available as prints.
