Anna was forty-years old when I met her and she had lived at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore since she was eight. She weighs just over just 8000 pounds and stands 9-feet-tall at shoulder. There are few African elephants in the zoos in the Northeast (as it should be). She may be the closest one to my home in Massachusetts.
These luscious richly-colored giclée prints are from a limited edition of 250, printed to order, and signed and numbered by the artist. Only a small portion of the artist’s paintings are available as prints.

Dearest Dawn, I have waited at least 6 months to get my hands on this elephant print! Didn’t know if you were going to do prints and I am so glad you did. I watched him evolve in your photography for weeks and weeks and fell in love. So hopefully he will soon be honored on my living room wall. It is such a tribute to these amazing creatures.
