Currently without a full studio, I began making one-of-a-kind statement necklaces because I love them. I’m using polymer clay and forming most of my beads over a wooden base so they are remarkably lightweight. Polymer clay is an amazing material. I have always loved working with my hands and learning new things and this medium scratches both those itches while using all the color and design lessons I learned from 30 years as a dyer, faux painter and oil painter.
