Wyatt (Amur Leopard) Limited Edition Print

$195.00

I met Wyatt at the Santa Barbara Zoo in March 2017. He had a brand new future mate at that moment who he was only able to see in their separate night quarters. Keepers told me that he seemed very interested in meeting her. They were waiting for her to return the interest. Ajax, the female, had just arrived from a zoo in the UK only a week earlier. When I visited, they alternated days in the public outside habitat.

Wyatt is an Amur leopard, the most endangered of the big cats. Amur is the region in Siberia native to Amur leopards and Amur tigers. Wyatt was four or five when I met him. Ajax was two years younger. I hear they are now inseparable. The long term plan is for their offspring to help repopulate their species in a special reserve set up in their native habitat.

So, of course, I couldn’t offer a print of Wyatt without offering Ajax, too.

These luscious richly-colored giclée prints are from a limited edition of 250, printed to order, and signed and numbered by the artist. Only a small portion of my paintings are available as prints.

Wyatt’s oil portrait is 16″x16″ so only the smallest prints are available.
