Dasha, at 16 years old, is beyond her reproductive years. That did not abate her keen interest in Hector, the newest tiger at the zoo. Born in 2001, she has lived her whole life at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.
These portraits are 11×14, oil on canvas board. I painted most of them in the winter and spring of 2018/19 because I needed to sit to work. A slow-healing foot injury had me off my feet.
